Dr. Pisut Koomsap and Dr. Duangthida Hussadintorn Na Ayutthaya attended the 31st International Conference on Transdisciplinary Engineering (TE2024) at UCL East, London, held from July 8-12, 2024.
Part of this photo gallery evidences our mission to share the lessons learned from the project that we, in collaboration with Dr. Cathal de Paor (MIC), included in our accepted full paper entitled “Ensuring Student Active Engagement in Engineering Education.” Dr. Duangthida presented this paper in the Engineering Education session, chaired by Dr. Irina Lazar, University College London.

๐Ÿ“ŒA week-long program of visits in Ireland ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ช

This week, we had the privilege of enlightening discussions with several academic professionals from the National Forum, Technological University Dublin, University of Limerick, Munster Technological University, and Mary Immaculate College. The insights and successes we learned from them will be instrumental in supporting the establishment of our center. We also had the opportunity to observe a CPD summer course on robotics for teachers at MIC, addressing the need for the next generations to be equipped with knowledge of new technology from an early age. Aside from that, we were delighted with an opportunity to have a brief tour to learn about the history and development of the University of Limerick, established in 1972.

The following is the class ambiance during the training session of โ€˜Learning Experience-Focused Course Design and Development (LEF-CDD)โ€™ at the Faculty of Engineering, Department of Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering, Prince of Songkla University, during June 5-7, 2024. We also had the privilege of exploring the Ikea Industry facilities in Portugal. We were afforded a detailed tour that provided us with an insightful glimpse into the workings of their production plant. This visit offered us a unique perspective on the companyโ€™s commitment to sustainability and innovation in manufacturing.
