Trainers and partner leaders get together at Mary Immaculate College this week.

For this occasion, partner leaders meet to follow up on the progress of the project and they are pushing things forward. According to the Project Executive Committee (PEC) meetings, the development of the remaining modules by our EU partners is expected to be completed and ready to be offered by the last quarter of this year. Our Thai trainers will be in Braga, Portugal in a few months to attend the training sessions on ‘Coaching and Mentoring Skills Development’ and ‘Project-Based and Problem-Based Learning’ Modules.

Yesterday, Dr. Kathleen Horgan and the twelve Thai trainers got together to reflect knowledge gained from the training session. They also discussed demonstrating the knowledge in their 30-minute micro-teaching session for the next meeting in Mary Immaculate College (MIC), Ireland.

Micro-teaching is a teacher training and faculty development technique whereby the teacher reviews a recording of a teaching session, in order to get constructive feedback from peers and/or students about what has worked and what improvements can be made to their teaching technique.
